Thanks for taking a wander around my website, here’s where you’ll learn a little more about me. There are many skilled, dedicated project managers out there for small business. When we work together we enter into a space of collaboration. As collaborative partners, we are rooted in an intention, we start from a place grounded in values + strategic priorities; questions + curiosity.

I’m a problem solver + resource finder.

One of the most important outcomes I received from graduate school was learning how to ask questions. A health services doctorate program teaches you how to research + dig deeper to find resources. I’m humble enough to know I won’t have all the answers but I do know how to find someone to answer our questions.

Money management is an integral part of your whole business. Making sure I have a big picture view of your small business will allow us to implement values based strategic priorities. These priorities lead to systems + procedures that create an environment of sustainability, ultimately making your life + the business run smoother.

I have 25+ years of office management.

I started my work when I was 17, at a florist, keeping the financials in an old-fashioned paper ledger book. Since then I’ve worked for small mom + pop stores, international consulting firms + online start ups, all with less paper, more computer-based tracking.

A little bit more personal…

When I was 9 years old my favorite thing to do was play “office” with a box of cancelled checks given to me by a friend’s mom. I had an electric typewriter I’d draft memos on + my favorite book was From The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankwieler – because research + long cabinets filled with files!
 I’m never without a planner. That’s because 
I’ve been a list maker, organizing superhero + project manager for 25 years (whew!). Pen + paper? My constant companions. Currently I’m Macgivering the Bullet Journal concept to wrangle all my ideas + client tasks into one spot. So far, so good…

Three Things I Advocate For:

Intentional business building

Asking meaningful questions + getting clear about the values guiding the priorities + growth of our businesses. Without the focus of a compass + clear map, your money management + projects will have less impact, on you + the audience you serve.

Using technology mindfully

The online world can add great benefit when engaged in with intention + purpose. I believe in less time on social media + areas that simply make you feel “less than.” This means more time for real conversations + opportunities to exchange ideas, thoughts + practice our truths.

Stepping out of the Overwhelm Inertia

Overwhelm is a choice. Figure out Step One + step forward. When we get stuck, brave the ask + get help. The projects that are part of how we do businesses need to empower + engage our strengths. If they simply overwhelm us, it’s time to make a change + delegate.
